Free Consultation

Connecting with your psychotherapist is really important for your therapy journey.  It is really important that you feel able to decide if  they are right for you.  I offer a free inital telephone consultation and our first face to face appointment for half price.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.  My service is completly confidential and remains with BACP ethical framework and boundaries.

A really safe space to talk. I didn't know what to expect from Counselling and I was immediately put at ease.  I was really suprised at how talking to somebody could change things.  I felt like Chris really listened.

Step 1. Book a Free Consultation

Step 2. The Initial Appointment

To start the proccess, you can text, e-mail or telephone me to arrange our intial appointment.  I aim to respond within 48 hours of any enquiry.  A contact form with further details can also be found under "contact" on this website.
Tel: 07922281853
e-mail: [email protected]
Arrange initial appointment.  This will be a mutual time we are both available.  I will let you know immediately which counselling slots I have to offer at that time.  If you decide you would like to continue therapy following our initial appointment, we will identify a regular time slot and contract for an inital amount of sesions.  Therapy is usually 50 mintutes, weekly.

Step 4. Relapse Prevention

Step 3. One to One Therapy

Preparing for the end of therapy is incredibly important and should not come as a last minute decision orshock.  We may use some of our sessions to consider a relapse prevention plan when working with specific problems.
Once we have started 1:1 therapy, we will regularly review progress and our contract.  Therapy should only continue if we both agree that it is of benefit to the client.
